She attended Bryn Mawr College, where she began her first research in Professor Patrick Melvin’s lab, focusing on deoxyfluorination. She contributed to the discovery of a novel pathway that expands access to fluoroformamidines using an SIF deoxyfluorination reagent. She later moved to University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where she is currently working in the White group on OXO and machine learning applications in chemistry.
