Shawn Wayne Schowe

A.S. Biology, University of Colorado Denver

Shawn grew up in sunny Denver Colorado where he obtained an A.S. in biology at Red Rocks Community College. Pursuing more education, he transferred to The University of Colorado Denver where he studied chemistry and mathematics. Shawn found his passion for research during working under Marino Resendiz for two years, studying RNA nucleoside modifications and their effects on oligonucleotide properties. He graduated in the spring of 2022 and began investigation under Christina White at the University of Illinois in asymmetric catalysis.
